Dougiec

I've just tried it - it works for me. See below

What error do you get? If it's something like:
"Error: Invalid character in web directory. Valid characters are a-z A-Z 0-9 - . / _"

Then I would suspect that you've left a space character in the field - just check by using the backspace and delete keys to make sure the field is blank.

Looks like we have near success.

The domain name setting are now correct, so don't touch them! Both www.dougiec.f9.co.uk and www.stereocatbabies.co.uk now point to the same place (/htdocs).

It looks like the index.html page that was there has been deleted. You'll need to re-create with the website wizard. You are getting the directory listing because there is no index.html in the directory. The scb20_files and scb44_files appear to relate to running the website wizard. Perhaps you selected to create a new 'index' file in the website wizard rather then click on the existing 'index' file name to edit it?

I deleted the existing index and created a new one and it now works ok. brill!!!!

I've been looking at cool page and it is indeed cool. I assume I don't need to use another ftp programm - I just publish theirs?

Do u have any idea what i should complete in the FTP Site box?

Narrs, it worked.

OK, the picture is all off centre but, hey, that'll be easy sorted.

You're a gentleman and a scholar.

Listen, if the band get anywhere, back stage passes will be flying in your direction.
