Service Status

Hi

Seeking views here;

I have noted the information in Service Status is sparse and tends to be optimistic, for example they talk about a brief outage yesterday afternoon on ADSL.However connectivity at 10:46 is reading at 5 hours or so, but no corresponding note in service status.

I could not connect last night at around 22:00 when according to Service Status there should not have been a problem.

Any shared experience here?

Hi there,
We use Service Status when there is a service-wide problem. There were no generic or service-wide problems across the ADSL platform last night - if there were, or we were aware, then we would have posted about it. In general, we collate the data from people calling us, people raising tickets, Forums and USENET along with dedicated service monitoring to help pin down sporadic or intermittant faults - so I would strongly advise letting us know when your service is not optimal.
