Personal Firewall

I just thought I'd try to liven the debate. I have used the free Zone Alarm Firewall (as advised by FOL)for some time, and have been happy enough with it, but the latest update completely messed things up, and clashed with my virus scanner as well. I've looked around and am currently trying the Sygate product which seems ok so far. Judging from the Zone Alarm forum, I'm not alone in this. What are other people's experiences? For what it's worth, I was put on to the following site: http://www.wilders.org/ which has a number of security downloads available to try. Well worth a look.

RE: Personal Firewall

Thanks!
Great website!
Try a another good & free firewall get this one @ http://www.kerio.co.uk .

Have you tried http://www.grc.com ?
You can check your security settings with -SHIELDS UP:An online scanner.
Basically it checks your computer settings(safely) ! I found out...(I use XP by the way)(...that downloading/installing all XP service pack 1...simply messed up & slowed down my computer !!
On the above website they have a utility call XPDite (free download) only around 24K! And it solves my problem....I just download from Microsoft, what I think & feel it's important for my computer security & performance. Try that website after you install any firewall!

If you want any further info. Reply to this post!
