Peer2Peer Problems

Hi,

We don't have an traffic shaping or throttling in place that would cause any slow speeds with edonkey.
It's more likely the people you are downloading from have slow upload speeds causing the slowdown.

don't forget with programs like edonkey, emule, kazaa, etc the intial download can be slow.

the reason being you may only be connected to one person, so you getting it all from them, the more you connect to, to download the faster it will be.

and remember when you on the net, with these types of software, people can retrieve whatever you downloaded via their packages, which will eat into your bandwidth.

Mike
