Computers users reprimanded by Scold virus

During 10th and 11th December 2003, MessageLabs intercepted a significant number of copies of a new virus called W32/Scold-MM. The first copy of the virus originated from France. So far, the majority of copies have been disseminated from Australia and Egypt.

W32/Scold-MM spreads by emailing copies of itself to email addresses found on infected machines.
