NTL Impose Download Limit of 1GB/Day

There are a couple of news stories relating o this issue at www.net4nowt.com .

Reading through though it is thought it would only affect a small percentage of customers who regularly d/l in excess of 1GB. The idea is to make the Broadband network reliable to everyone whenever they need to use it.

Question is, will BT follow suite. Therefore it could be argued that the whole idea of limiting data transfer could take away the benefit of an "always on" connection.

RE: NTL Impose Download Limit of 1GB/Day

I just heard about this on another forum.

I hope they don't follow suit.

Made me laugh though. I can remember seeing posts on here with people complaining about +Net and saying they were leaving and going to NTL. Cheesy

lol

What a very good point you make there Smiley

Ok so there have been problems, but there has usually been a explanation and things have been sorted out fairly quickly again, so its better the devil you know isn't it.

Furthermore, I have heard so many mixed reports about NTL both with regard to Internet access and the telephone service.
