I was just looking at the Discussion Forums list page and clicked on 'The newest registered user' which states that the member (i wont name) joined on 22 Sep 2005.

I am surprised Plusnet hasnt signed anyone up since then. :shock:

More seriously, I believe it’s the last user to make their first post, or visit the forum for the first time.

Yeah, its down to the way that the forums are integrated with the rest of the portal. As a customer doesn't have an account created here until they actually visit.

For example, as I write this the newest member joined in June 2003.

I signed up to PN in dec 2005 and started posting thereafter so how come the thing shows last one in sept2005?

Don't understand.

Clicked on Forum Index, went to the bottom of the page, and clicked on the Newest Member, and it says he/she joined 27th Feb 2006

Its because the account on the forums is only fully created once they visit the forum, which is why there can often be a difference between the date they first visit the forum and when they actually signed up their account.
