Help on error: Inappropriate ioctl for device...

Hi all,

I have just looked at PHP for the first time and I have updated my web site
to make use of it. I have been able to installed Apache and PHP on my
Redhat 7.1 system and I have got my web site working perfectly locally. I
have uploaded the files to crofters and I get the following message:

Warning: file("") - Inappropriate ioctl for device in
/files/local/home/iancollington/main.php on line 1552

The actual line (1552) is the file function to open a local file.

Can anyone tell me what this means and how I can fix it?

Thanks in advanced.

Ian.

Hi Ivan,
I am wondering if this error message relates to a path problem in the sense that the uploaded files on crofters are looking for a file or device which is on your local machine but instead should have a path statement that sources the file or device on your website. Dont Know its just a thought?
