Hi there,

Yes an excellent peice of kit and very interesting. It has indeed been mentioned on the forums before, but the odd reminder now and then does no harm. Smiley

It is a cool bit of kit and ive spent many hours (too many) roaming the earth but just a word of warning if you pay for the extra gigs as you use them this can chew through them at a fair rate
Good fun though Cheesy

World Wind is pretty good also:

http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/

World Wind lets you zoom from satellite altitude into any place on Earth. Leveraging Landsat satellite imagery and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data, World Wind lets you experience Earth terrain in visually rich 3D, just as if you were really there.

Virtually visit any place in the world. Look across the Andes, into the Grand Canyon, over the Alps, or along the African Sahara.

I've used both worldwind and GEarth and I have to say I prefer GEarth.
There's nothing quite like putting in your current address, and your childhood address and "flying" the route back home
