In case you really think there can be free energy, have a look at www.randi.org .
That gentleman offers $1 million to anyone who can demonstrate it.

Offer also applies to dowsing, homeopathy, mindreading, contacting the dead, healing of the non-medical variety, spoonbending other than by trickery, and similar nonsense.

So if it does work, why don't they just nip in and claim the million before going any further? They'll have a reason why not, of course. They always do.

lol, the problem is even if it does work automatically it no longer is free as there is money to be made so there are business rates to pay as well as equipment and for the customers this would equate to bills.

Sorry, what were they claiming again? Free energy? LMAO!!

Do they also do the much fabled "free lunch" which everybody claims there is no such thing as?

If its true and they do give it away "royalty-free for certain purposes including water and rural electrification projects in third world countries".

Then this does not stop them from using their patent to charge manufacturers of devices that are considered luxurious items. A bit like Robin Hood.

If it does work and its managed correctly then in reality energy could be free home to home, but mobility could be where all the money is made.

For example, mobile phones, laptops etc.

Personally I dont believe its going to happen, not in my lifetime anyway. I guess it is possible, but I dont think the human race is evolved enough to just let things be "free". Wink

Tut tut phear, and there's me thinking you're clever.

Didn't you notice that the people claiming to have done it this time are Irish? (pause for hail of abuse from Mark and the pc brigade  )
They'll no doubt make a fortune out of the publicity though.

Presumably they didn't teach physics in your school then.

They did teach it, whether I listened or not is the main question lol. I dont really care whether they are Irish or Scottish, it doesnt really matter.

You have to remember alot of these laws were created a long time ago. With things we now refer to as primitive mechanical devices. It would be primitive of me to believe in laws that were created before the current technological advances.

Laws have and will be re-written, fixed and changed for aslong as we continue to live. For example: Ampère's law.

Things change, to not believe in change is probably against a law that some nutcase created in the 18th century.

There's an interesting article here that I think gets things about right

My own view is that it's on a par with this, even down to the desire to bring together a suitable group of specialists to finalise things! Wink

...but who knows?

And Uri Geller bends spoons through the power of his mind.

Well, it might be possible.
Mightn't it?
Well you never know.
Just because we think it can't be done doesn't mean it can't.
And other assorted tripe.

There have been conmen since the dawn of time (I imagine)
and there have been people willing to be conned.

By the way, I'm a medium.
