Christmas No 1

I may put a tenner on Andy from Xfactor releasing The Christmas Song and it making number 1.

However I'm guessing that they have it written into their agreements with the competition that they cannot release a single while the competition is still running. Which is a shame.

Andy singing Nat King Coles "The Christmas Song" would sound magic.

Look at the list of previous title holders... It went pear shaped after about 73 with maybe a couple of exceptions.. my choice of exceptions being 75' , 76' , 84' and 91'

Since then, I think its been pretty much overhyped pop rubbish, or regurgitated originals. (Mr Blobby 93' and Bob The Builder 00' ?!?!)

I cant believe Spice Girls got it once, let alone 3 years in a row.

Mind you a lot of young lads about fancies etc, I can see how it may have happened.

Christmas No 1

Well; I've done a quick google for the hampster dance single and found an unofficial website for the "artists"

www.cubanboys.f9.co.uk

Now that's what I call a coincedence?.

The song was released in December 1999. Called Cognoscenti Vs Intelligentsia.

Does this help anyone to track it down?
