BBC multicast

According to the BBC Multicast Technical Trial one of the participating ISPs is Plusnet. I would have assumed that meant F9 as well, but if I go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/multicast/channels.shtml and try to watch any live television channel it fails. Does it work for anyone else? If so, then I wonder if it could be that my ADSL router isn't passing multicast to me?

Thanks, that's exactly the sort of information I was after!

I've tried this multicast test recently and I've not had any sucess at all.

I have done everything "correct" according to the information linked to in the last post.

I do have a netgear router, so I pulled out the router and connected with a USB modem instead. this didn't work either.

Has anyone managed to get it to work and how?

As I understand it the peering with the BBC is down, so the multicast stream is unavailable.

The current status is given at the top of the page referanced above.

Many thanks.

The BBC/ITV link has been down now for many weeks, and it seems to be a problem on the F9 (plusnet) side of the network. This is ment to be getting fixed very soon, but we will see.
