When a customer has two lines.. Plusnet can only bill the one with BB

To be honest, this could be relevant for residential customers as well, but in this specific instance, it's a business account.
My customer is a farmer, and so has a landline and a fax line. We've set PN Business Broadband on his fax line and moved the line rental and calls also. This is great, but his landline remains with BT. I know you have no way of doing this without broadband, so consider if feedback more than anything.
In this case, a single bill would have been quite beneficial. A shame really, that the whole account cannot be simply dealt with by the one company.
It's not as if you don't deal with lines and calls anyway.....

Hi Chris
Many thanks for the feedback. This is something we are aware of and understand the difficulty this presents for customers like you.
My colleague Gordon, who you'll see posting in this forum, is currently investigating options to address this. I'm not promising we'll deliver a solution quickly but we're certainly looking at what may be done.

Have you thought of using VoIP to replace the phone line? I believe you could migrate the existing number to VoIP. You'd save the difference between the cost of the second line and adding VoIP.

Its a great idea, but the line tests out at 0.5mb and we're migrating to PlusNet because the existing ISP (Gamma) don't care about end user speed issues any more and we need to try something..

For what it's worth: I have two lines to, 1 is a fax line with the boroadband connection on - a business customer and the other is a voice line with anytime calls provided by plusnet.  I just get two bills...

@Mark Kelly - get Gordon to speak to Mand. She has a way of cracking this as both SGTE & I can testify, as we both have second lines on phone only. Yes, they are separate accounts, which happened to suit me, but may not be ideal for others, but at least it's all with Plusnet.
