Hello,
I am currently trying to use a draytek 2830 ADSL2+ with my new business broadband.
The router is currently connected to my "retail" plus net broadband, but when I connect the router to the new installed broadband, it refuses to connect.
It shows as ready, but after changing the username and password to the new account, it refuses to connect.
If I then change the username and password back to the other one and switch ports back to the old connection, it works first time.
Anyone any ideas or managed to get this working?
Thanks

Brand new line.
I don't actually have another modem to check it with.
The 2830 works fine with the other plus net line.
The latest back from Plusnet was that there may be a fault on the line. Strange, as the engineer that installed it said it was all fine.

Is it possible your new business account has not yet been activated?
Try connecting with the plain BT test account:
Username: bt_test@startup_domain
Password: anything
If this connects OK there is no problem with the line installation and you are connected up to broadband.
Next, check the connection to the Plusnet domain, by using this.
Username: bt_test_user@plusdsl.net
Password: anything
If that also connects, then you are able to connect to the Plusnet domain, and the likeliest possibility is that you are entering your account information incorrectly, or your account has not been activated yet.
