Not sure it's really relevant TBH.
The grant seems to cover installation costs, which under a lot of circumstances we don't charge for anyway.
The cabinet that serves the property would also still need to be FTTC enabled (or FTTP available in the area) before we could connect you. We've little influence over how quickly that gets done, grant or no grant - it's ultimately down to BT/Openreach.
