Product Query - PlusNet Broadband Premier Option 2

Hi guys / girls, quick query if I may.
Been using this product with the faster upload speed enabled, cost is about £38 discounted to £34 due to 12 month contract).
The new Business Broadband Option 3 at £32 (market 1) seems to do more am I right / can I move onto it. Happy to stay with Plusnet and don't mind having another 12 month contract.
Any help / guidance / pro's and con's / would be appreciated
Thanks
Jay

There's a separate board for business users. You might do better asking there.

I suppose the first question has to be, are you a business or do you want to use the business product for your home use?

Re: Product Query - PlusNet Broadband Premier Option 2

Mark, nope not a business - just slightly concerned that I am paying more for my current setup than what is offered with new Business Broadband Option 3 at £32 (market 1). I like having the faster upload due to my interest in photography and at times I can download a fair bit. The new Business Broadband Option 3 at £32 (market 1) seems to offer more or the equivalent for slightly less.

You could look at the unlimited package with the max premium upgrade on it, should come in at around 30 on Market 2 exchanged.

We certainly do not encourage consumers to sign up to our business products. The products are for business use with the aim of preventing consumer traffic impacting business apps and usage.

Re: Product Query - PlusNet Broadband Premier Option 2

Thanks for the quick reply - in your view what product should I go for then if i can't go for Business Broadband Option 3 at £32 (market 1) which saves me a few quid. Bearing in mind I am on a legacy product. Again thanks in advance.

Re: Product Query - PlusNet Broadband Premier Option 2

I'd say either unlimited or pro, with the max premium if you need it (or you could go on the ADSL2+ trial if your exchange is enabled - see http://trials.plus.net for details as that would also increase the upload speed).
It depends if you're happy to schedule downloads overnight really, if you are you'll be fine on either of those products.
Hope that helps,
Mark
