All inbound calls to Plusnet are answered with silence

That's a bit of a sweeping statement, there is an issue where some calls are met with silence however it's by no means all calls.

Just to follow up on Chris' comments. We are aware of an issue with our phone system where a very small amount of calls are experiencing a problem. We've escalated this to our suppliers and are working on a resolution as a priority.
I can see you did manage to get through to us at 1240, successfully.
