Non Plusnet Business Broadband

Hi all, hoping you can give me some info!
The company i work for has BT Business Broadband, we had an outage 2-3 weeks ago. The internet was down for about 2 days or so (big deal for us, as we need it for business (duh!))
Since being re-connected, our ping has lept up to anything between 400-600 and the internet is barely useable at times. In your opinions, is this very high ping speed acceptable? We have a contention ratio of 1/20.
BTW BT say there is no problem and wont fix it!

Contention ratios were scrapped when ADSL Max was launched.

I suspect you will be on Max Premium, which gives your traffic higher priority on the network.
If it is consistently like that it's not good, what throughput are you getting though as BT will probably rely on that.

Not sure Adie, i dont have access to the technical stuff.
BT are just being tools, i have him looking at Plusnet at the moment. For business customers we seem to be getting poo'd on!
