Moving domain away from plusnet but keeping email accounts

Hi all,

Wondering if anybody can answer this one. i currently have a domain with Plusnet but want to move it away for various reasons such as the lack of DNS record support for things like SRV and TXT records. On this domain i have a number of email accounts.

If i move the domain to another registrar, can I still use the mailboxes if I point the MX records back to plusnet after moving it?

Yeah thats your best bet,  get your DNS records all setup on the new registrar then modify the DNS servers to your new registrar.  As long as the relevant  mail records are the kept the same your will have no loss of service.

Great, thanks for the reply! I just wanted to make sure it was supported by Plusnet and that moving the domain away wouldnt cancel the mailboxes!
