How long for additional mailbox user password change?

Hi,
I changed a mailbox password approx 10 minutes ago and am trying to login on Webmail with the usual grimme+username and the new password.
It keeps telling me I've used the wrong username or password - how long should  I need to wait before I can use the newly changed password to check e-mail?

Hi,
Apologies for answering my own question, but as I still couldn't login to the webmail account an hour after changing the password, I took a chance and deleted, then recreated the account with the same name and password.
It all seems to be working fine now - all very strange indeed though!

Strange, did you try logging in with the previous password during this time?

Yes, had tried using both older and newer passwords several times before. Had also tried changing the password again approx 1 hour after the original change.
It was only the removal and re-creation of the mailbox from the portal page that allowed the mail account to be used and all seems to be still working OK, thanks.
