Fax to email

Could've gone in any forum suppose but ... is there any way the quality of the fax-to-email could be improved?  Resulting screen views and printouts are very scrappy.
I used to use an online service and the quality was much better (from the same fax machine , I might add). 
I'm  interested in any feedback on this.

Hi Steve
The current Fax - to - email service is under review and we intend improving it. There are no timescales right now for this work but we acknowledge your concerns and I absolutely agree that this needs to be improved.
As soon as we have definate information we'll pass it on but dont expect anything by way of detail until the new year.
