ExDirectory

My business is listed in directory enquiries with my home address.

How can I either

1) Update it to the business address

or

2) Change the entry to be ex-directory

Re: ExDirectory

Hello Michael,

A warm welcome to the forums.

Plusnet's business phone service T&Cs state...

Phone book and directory entries

1.4 The service includes a telephone number. This number will be put in the appropriate BT Phone Book, together with the Customer's details, and made available from BT's directory enquiries service unless the Customer requests otherwise.

So the key question is "What are the Customer's details"?  In the case of a business account, that very much depends on the nature of the business.  If it is a limited company, then legal entity (the customer) is the name of the company.  If it is a sole trader, then the legal entity (the customer) is Fred Bloggs - who trades as [business name].

It would be best to have a chat with the business support team to see if an alternative request can be made.

Re: ExDirectory

Thanks for the reply

I just need them to update the address which is being included in the listing to the correct business address.

What is the best way to get in touch with the Business Team?

Re: ExDirectory

Hiya @Michael10, thanks a lot for getting in touch and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Can I just ask whether you're referring to the number ending in 72?

If so, it'll be registered to the same address that it's provisioned at to honest, and we wouldn't be able to make any changes to that on our side. I'd be able to remove it though, and add it to the Ex-Directory? Smiley
