There is in fact a quite simple solution that hasn't been mentioned yet - change to an ISP that provides features and support suitable for business use. There are several good ones that allow multiple connections under one account, separate logins for different business functions, and a good SLA, etc. etc. They will cost more than Plusnet though.

I guess that's the key point: Budget ISP most likely means, at least to some extent, budget support and features.
