Business Services closing any options for retaining subnet.

I have my subnet plumbed into over 100 routers and servers owned by our customers as a security measure (SSH Etc).  PN do not seem to have any means for me to retain the subnet or to transition to another provider gracefully.

I'm honstely at a loss as to what to do.

Are the addresses hard coded or reference your own domain?  The physical addresses will change no matter what you do.

One option is to use a L2TP service (I use AAISP) to get static addresses which are then independent of whatever ISP you use. Use those for your servers in parallel with the existing addresses, and migrate devices gradually to use the new addresses.

All you need to know is this is BT who are forcing this and they don't care so when you do commit to a new contract somewhere else just remember who's doing the f******, it's BT.

And they will always be like this as they are the defacto monopoly.

Plusnet may be owned by BT, but it is a separate company - and Plusnet's CEO and board of directors make the decisions. Plusnet could choose to do things differently, but seem to have chosen just to be a minimal reseller of Openreach broadband, and nothing more.

PN is just another part of the BT Consumer division these days, only separated by trading license and advertising.

I'd actually forgotten that they had done that reorganisation! Thanks for correcting me.
