Re: A Little Birdie told me . . . . . . .

Well when I moved products this week ..someone said that things were afoot for May. No idea what mind you but May is the month for a revamp.

Re: A Little Birdie told me . . . . . . .

Without suffixing the month with a particular year, it's a 1 in 12 chance that it will be May.

Well let's hope it's before the end of the decade!

I think the end of May is being hopeful.
"This is still something in the pipeline at present and should hopefully be within the next few months." - Dated 6:20pm, Tuesday 28th April 2009.
I for one will be looking for something else - I've waited long enough.

Re: A Little Birdie told me . . . . . . .

I've unfortunately buried the little birdie now as he passed away on Friday 1st May.  RIP little birdie.
I'm not moving though, although dated product, mine is now free due to referrals.

I wouldn't refer anyone to Plusnet now. It's clear that they are full of promises but unable to deliver on them. I had planned on coming back to Plusnet in October but they've talked nothing but crap in the last few months. They're floundering and that's not the sort of company I trust with any part of my business.

We are currently using TalkTalk for our business phone telephone service but have been waiting on the sidelines for an alternative business package from PlusNet.

Hi there,
I'm happy to say that the Business Product Refresh is now properly underway.
We should have some further details regarding timescales in the not-to-distant future.

Re: A Little Birdie told me . . . . . . .

This is interesting. I am looking for a package for a Farmer friend. He is not interested in 'bells and whstle's' like free broadband phone calls. This makes the most suitable package of Teleworker very poor value compared with other ISPs offerings. Currently I'm looking at BT's £12.50 per month deal but am balking at a 2 year contract.
I understand that Teleworker currently has a 12 month minimum contract length. I need to move in the next week so can't wait for the refresh to be completed. How about PN reducing the Telworker contract to 1 month until the refresh is complete? If the refresh is worth bothering with then I would expect people to willingly transfer to a better, longer deal.

Is the telephone registered as a business line?

Yes, I'm afraid it is else I would suggest a residential package to him.

Re: A Little Birdie told me . . . . . . .

Shouldn't matter - I think you can select any package, on any line.
The whole argument in favour of PNs traffic shaping profiles is that every product will make good business sense and will cost in, whoever uses it, and whatever they use it for.
Each one employs different methods to make it profitable, but there is no real reason for a difference. (VAT is split out on invoices for 'business products')
I'm pretty certain PN will be able to sort it, although I don't think it can be done automatically via the portal.

I'd suggest the best chance of success is a PM to Jameseh

Re: A Little Birdie told me . . . . . . .

I would expect that we would allow our business customers to move over to the new products as soon as they have been released with no financial penalty.
It would be rather silly otherwise Smiley
