i recently got a new router from pn as my old router was playing up so i now have the thomson with v8 software firmware upgrade on my old router i was getting just under 14mb download speeds with the new router i am getting 6500 mb my speeds started dropping from 13th feb i just checked the stats and it seams as tho it diconnected just over 1 day ago but i dont remember being online when this happened so i didnt notice here are the stats from my router

It seems that those 3 drops yesterday have caused your line to be banded. Have you made any changes to your connection set up?

no i havnt made any changes at all in fact i wasnt online for much yesterday so when it did disconect i didnt notice im going to dissconect npw though and plug into the master socket and leave it in there in case its that causing problems apart from doing the firmware upgrade last week to v8 i havnt changed anything and the reason i did firmware upgrade was because i noticed lower speed than my last modem i only had this modem deliverd last thursday

OK, well for the time being while it's banded you won't see the connection rate go above 9728. We have some information about it here

ok thanks jojo
so what sort of timeframe am i looking at for my dlm to rise and my banding to be removed and my ip profile being put back to what it was ? the one thing i thought about that may have caused dropouts on my line last friday was my flat was having some work done on it and power had to be switched off but thats all done now

As it's not chronically banded it should come off in 3-5 days barring any other instability.
