I'm confused as to which product im on....
ive been with plusnet almost 2 years and I have fibre optic, and I get about 50mbps speeds....
I'm paying £19.99 ...(plus line rental)
so does that mean I'm on Fibre Optic Extra?
but when I check my package online it just says I'm on standard fibre optic....

You're on fibre unlimited, pn don't change the package without you requesting it.

Hi snailspace171,
You're on Plusnet Fibre Unlimited, which is the equivalent to our new Fibre Unlimited Extra product. I appreciate why this is a little confusing. The new Fibre Unlimited product is £14.99 but there are some limitations to it. For example a maximum of 40Mb/s download speeds.

OK. Thank you.
So there would be no benefit to me changing package to the newer "fibre extra" then, I take it?
Eg, I wouldn't get any faster speed or anything?

Hi snailspace171,
That's correct, there wouldn't be a benefit for you on speed between the two products.

OK. Thanks for the speedy reply.
I have one other unrelated question.....
We subscribe to BT sports through plusnet which is enabled on our Sky TV box.....
... Do you have any idea if / when I will be able to use the BT sports app, or website to stream the channels online?

Hi again snailspace171,
We don't currently have a set time to provide these additional services for our BT Sport offering but I'm sure we'll make a noise about it when we do look to change the ways the service can be used. Best to keep an eye on the website and on your emails as we'll be updating them as we move forward.
