what does this mean? LLU yes, 21CN WBC

Ive just checked the samknows site and ive noticed a few changes, 21CN WBc has been enabled, and there are now LLU providers on my local exchange ( listed as market 1)
Quote
ADSL: Yes
SDSL: No
LLU services: Yes
Cable: No
Wireless: No
BT Wholesale information
ADSL status: Enabled as of 31/05/2001
ADSL Max status: Enabled as of 31/03/2006
SDSL status: Not available
21CN WBC status: Enabled
FTTC status: Not available

I also have a phone service from plusnet.
Would i be able to move my broadband over to a significantly cheaper LLU service, and benefit from the faster 21CN WBC products that LLU providers ( but not plusnet it would appear) can offer?

Yep, you could move to a cheaper LLU provider with crappy overseas support.

If your exchange has been upgraded to 21CN then your broadband should be automatically migrated to ADSL2+ http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/speed_guide/adsl2+_faq.shtml within a month or so.

Depending on how long ago the exchange was upgraded to 21CN you may already be on ADSL2+. In which case moving to an LLU provider would give you little benefit in speed. If you post the full stats from your router we could comment.

Hi Pint,
As the exchange is ADSL2+ enabled we'd be able to regrade your line for you to take advantage of the up to 20Mb speeds if you wish? To get an idea of what speed you'd get you can put your phone number into http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome and it'll give you an estimate.
If you'd like to go ahead with the upgrade please let us know and we'll get the order placed for you.
