Re: were do i ask to be changed to adsl2+ please ?

Just disable its DHCP server and connect one of its LAN ports to a Netgear LAN port. If you need to be able to access the TG582n GUI then you will need to give it a LAN IP in the same subnet as the Netgear ( but outside its DHCP range ).

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: were do i ask to be changed to adsl2+ please ?

Now you have got the Netgear working - and I recommend sticking with the DGTeam firmware - then the IP profile will increase automatically
You will then either need to phone support or raise a speed ticket to ask for the Plusnet profile to be changed to match whatever the BT IP profile is - it is actually 88.2% of sync speed
This is a direct link to do it https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=wizard&page=22883&wizard_id=38

Re: were do i ask to be changed to adsl2+ please ?

Is that from the Openreach NGA checker? If you put your phone number into the BT checker at http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/pls/adsl/adslchecker.welcome does that say FTTC is available, or perhaps give an availability date for your cabinet?
