Hello, I'm hoping someone can help. A site which we regularly use has stopped working for us (and says it cannot be displayed, as if it was not a real site), but we know the site is still active as other people we know access it and we can still get to it by taking the laptop to other peoples houses and using their internet to access it.
The site is:
http://xenosrp.forumotion.co.uk/
Which is part of a group of forums run by "forumotion". When we google forumotion anything by them comes up as unable to display with the same error so it seems that their entire network is not accessable by us (and/or plusnet as a whole). This only happened as of lunch time yesterday and was working fine until then.
So far we have tried:
resetting the router, removing the firewall from the router, accessing it from different pcs, using different internet browsers, clearing internest history/cookies.
Unfortunatley none of these work. Even the person at the plusnet helpdesk couldnt access the site (possibly for the same reason) but the site itself is there! Any ideas of what we can do to try to get this resolved would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance

That link works for me - displays a list of forums on a dark skin page.
However my primary DNS is not Plusnet's - the Plusnet DNS servers fail lookup on that URL. I suggest raising a ticket.

Just to say I have no problem accessing that website. It came up immediately.
I can get it using PCLinuxOS or Windows 7, with either Firefox or Chrome. I'm using a Technicolor TG582n router.
Not much help in solving your problem though, I'm afraid
PS I am using Plusnet DNS servers!

What browser are you using?
What is the exact error message that you get?
Have you tried a different browser (Firefox or google chrome)?

Thank you all for your speedy replies and your assistance!
For whatever reason it now works for us, so hopefully it was something at the forumotion side of things that has since been resolved.
I will keep these tips in mind in case it randomly stops working again though!
Thanks again.

Hi ianjoynson,
I have seen a few reports of issues with accessing forumotion sites this weekend and I also could not access this via my work computer, but as you have already found out it appears that the issue has resolved itself.
Thanks for your patience in the matter and apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
