I've got some figures from my router, don't know what they mean though.
Type Interleave
Status No Defect
Downstream Upstream
Data rate (Kbps 1184 448
Noise margin (dB) 7.7 12.0
Output power (dBm) 16.4 12.0
Attenuation (dB) 15.5 31.5
Any advice or suggestions? I've checked for virus etc and i'm clear.
Thanks

That looks broken. Do they look the same after you reboot your router?

You're getting pretty much what I would expect from a synchronisation (signal between router and exchange) perspective.
What results do you get if you go to http://mybroadbandspeed.co.uk ?

Is anything running on your computer which could be sending information to the internet? P2P software, iPlayer, that sort of thing?

Checkng my router I'm the only one connected, and it's not logged any security errors. My firewall setting havn't been changed, infact the only thing to have changed system wise was the windows update I did yesterday.

I can't find anything unusual on my pc, I'm very conscious of keeping my computer virus free etc.

It's not uncommon for an update to cause speed problems.

I wouldn't expect the Windows Update to affect just you either. Any chance of doing a system restore back to Tuesday?
