very slow plusnet speed and get cut off whenever the phone rings! Help please!!

Help! Just started with plusnet after happy untroubled if expensive year with sky. Speed began well ie 7.5mb which is fine for the countryside and then dropped like a stone to less than 2 and often less than 1. We are suppoes to be unlimited and uncapped. Plus the service stops when the phone rings!! Very sad.

Sounds like either a fault with your microfilter or with the exchange card.
First thing to try is connecting to the master test socket with a new microfilter. If this doesn't solve the problem then you need to raise a fault with Plusnet after running through the online faults process and they will arrange an engineer to come out and sort it

ADSL disconnects can be down to faulty filters - at you able to try another?
Is there nose on the line? Dial 17070 option 2 and listen to the line. If its noisy you need to raise a noisy line fault report with your phone provider.

In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
