Let me first state that i'm computer illiterate, i have a PC which is wired to a Thompson tg585 v8 router, and have just purchased a laptop which i want to use wirelessly.
After reading the instructions that came with the router it would appear that i need to 'log on' to the Thomson web site to set the settings, i have been given the 'user name' and 'password' (typed on to the router) but every time i've tried to 'log on' the password has been rejected.
Advice on this matter and any other tips about wireless conection would be very much appreciated

That is indeed correct Paul,
This needs to be entered in capital letters. If it's still not working, give it a reset using a pin or sharp object into the reset button found on the back of the router next to where the power cable plugs into.
Let us know if you experience any other issues.
Hope this helps,
Matt
