A friend of mine is about to upgrade from ADSL Max to ADSL2+, they have a netgear router which can handle ADSL2+. I have searched from the settings needed but I cannot find the answer, are there any settings that need changed? Thanks
As long as the router is set to connect in multi-mode or auto (or whatever Netgear call it) no setting changes are needed to connect using ADSL2+. However it will still connect even if set to ADSL1/G.DMT/G.992.1 but with ADSL Max maximum speeds.
