unable to make plusnet assist work!

Just joined plusnet so struggling with a few things!
I tried to download plusnet assist and it appears to be there on my windows 7 ...the tabs seem active but wont open anything! Just before loading completed a small message appeared saying that plusnet assist exe had stopped working.
Anyone else had this problem and how was it resolved?

Recommendation: Uninstall Plusnet assist - there is nothing that it does that can't be done directly.

IIRC it only works with IE. Are you using another browser?

No I'm using IE. By the look of things I may as well uninstall it and do this manually.

Similar problem here.  Uninstalled PlusNet assist, downloaded new version, installed it.  The program loads, but nothing works!
Using IE10.

Unfortunately Plusnet Assist doesn't yet support IE10.

Or Windows 8 as I understand it, although it has been out nearly a year with 8.1 soon to be released.
Same with the router firmware upgrade tool although it works compatibility mode.

Apparently it does work on Win8 althoiugh why you would want to use it

That's lucky! If it had worked it might have interfered with settings you didn't want changed.
