Re: ticket #68861462

Hi npr,
I can see that things don't seem to be moving along as well as you'd like. I'm happy to take personal ownership of this fault for you and try to get some movement on it?

Re: ticket #68861462

No problem.
Your line is still failing when testing it so I've arranged for an engineer to visit the Local Network to get this sorted out for you. I've also pushed the escalation to Team Manager level to try and apply further pressure to get this sorted out for you.
I'll keep you updated with further information as and when I get it. I believe I dealt with this fault previously so I'm a little unhappy, as you are, that the issue is still evident. Bear with me though, I'm confident we'll get this sorted for you!

Re: ticket #68861462

Hi Chris,
Yes you did deal with this before. Then I was getting about 20mbps down and 1.5 mbps up, eventually we both agreed it was unlikely to get BT to improve this.
Since then my up speed has deteriorated to around 0.6 mbps, down remained constant at around 20 mbps.
After last weeks BT visit my downstream has now reduced to around 17 mbps with no improvement in up stream.
The BT guy did admit that my line is aluminium all the way to the cabinet and it's that which is blocking the higher frequencies.
Regards

Re: ticket #68861462

Thanks for getting back to me.
Interesting. Well, I'll work to get the speeds back to where they were for you!
