terrible speeds tonight ???

I have the same problem here Glasgow G72 I thought it was me speeds are about those of old 56k modem.
can't even get to do speed test as page take takes to long to display.
Currently connected at 5248 Kbps

Have checked status but have seen no announcements. I have re-connected but still had no improvement exchange is green as usual.

I had the same problem for around 2-3 hours from 4:30 today, ESSHO exchange, was getting 145-150ms ping to bbc.co.uk and 300-800 on Counter Strike:Source servers.

Same problem here (for a couple of hours so far).
I got the feeling that browsing was a bit sluggish and only got an average 143ms ping when I tried bbc.co.uk (I'm in central Scotland).
Steam servers for HL2DM showing around the same minimum lag (140'ish) whereas this morning I had a game with a ping of under 40ms.
Hope this gets sorted soon (with a decent explanation)!

Download is 3806 upload is stuck between 6 YES 6kbps and 11 kbps. make that 3kbps.
The Speedtester will not compete so iacn't show you a pic of that test

same here. exchange is green. stable rate 4500, within useage limitations. normally 4-5mb speed but yesterday down to around 2mb but this sunday evening down to dial-up speeds.
rebooting router makes no difference.
something's up.

Seems as though not everyone is affected - I'm also in Central Scotland

I've even renewed my ip config... useful to know:
Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults: open command window and type:
netsh winsock reset catalog
Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults. open command window and type:
netsh int ip reset reset.log
and I've raised a ticket.

I too have raised a ticket.
I know for a fact I've only used at max 2GB of my 10GB peak limit so to say I'm annoyed at the moment is an understatement.
I do feel that we should be demanding compensation for failure to supply an acceptable service.
Tell you this for nothing. If my speed jumps after midnight to a reasonable speed there is going to be hell to pay.
