terrible speeds tonight ???

Is anyone else seeing terrible speeds tonight ..

web browsing is painfully slow and my speed checks come in at an unbelievable 161/378 from a normal 6150/448 ..
syncd at 7500/448
slow..slow...slow ..
please help ...

my game ping has went from 50ish to 150+

My exchange is showing as green but I'm getting very bad speeds also.
Never seen it so bad.
114kbps is my average speed test at the moment

my exchange is showing as green,
my speeds are generally always fine which is the strange thing as it has just started this evening with no changes my end ..
its basically unusable at near 56k speeds ...
any PN staffers around ?

there is obviously a problem plusnet .. please investigate.

Have you checked that you haven't gone over your usage limit?  
Maybe applies to some others with slow speeds too - worth checking before raising a fault.
There may also be a BT fault but as the outage tracker isn't updating correctly (subject of an another thread) we won't find out until one of the comms team looks at this tomorrow.

Also, have you done a BT Speedtest to check your IP Profile?

I haven't went over my usage limit so it's definitely not that, it was fine today but tonight it's terrible, even trying to browse websites is a chore.

my usage is reset on the 25th of each month so only a few days ago, thats not the issue ..
it also would not effect http browsing/ftp or pings to servers as these protocols are always prioritised.
finding it difficult to browse never mind the BT speedchecker which is painfully slow at the best of times. when I checked it 2 days ago it was around 6500 but again whatever my line profile is it would not cause lag when pinging a server.
oh, and email retrieval is appalling !!!
