technicolor router turns off

only been with plusnet a few weeks i have the technicolor tg582n router and yesterday and this morning while my other half was on the internet the router turned off has anyone else had this problem if so what did you do to sort it out.

I've not heard of that before? Has it happened before or have you seen it since?

it has only happened twice once last night then again this morning both times hubby was useing the internet. when it happens all the lights og of and the only way to get the lights to come back on is if i unplug the router from ither the back of it or at the plug ?

Is the 582n sitting on a nice flat hard surface so that there is unobstructed ventilation?

Does your husband use a separate computer to connect to the router to the one you are using?
If so, is your husband's connection to the router wireless or a wired connection?
Also what is the model of your husbands computer and the version of Windows it is running.
