can anyone explain why my syncing is down from 6 mbps to 3.2 mbps

Re: syncing down

Either you profile has dropped as BT thought there was a fault or they have put in a new cable which isnt joined properly or its on another pair which has more noise or it goes a long way round to the exchange.
Do a bt speedstest to find your profile and post before and after stats. If its your profile then it should build back up again in a few days

Re: syncing down

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test:  -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 3000 kbps
    DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)  3680 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 2724 kbps
i had two separate lines coming into the house they have encased  the two in one cable i have lost 3000 kbps
