I don't think the digicare team work weekends. Have you not spoke with support or raised a fault through your account to investigate it?

G992.3 is ADSL2
G992.5 is ADSL2+

Re: sync speed went from 6166kbps to 3335kbps WTH

Your service will be provisioned on ADSL2+ but the router will have discovered none of the frequencies above 1.1MHz used by the ADSL2+ protocol contribute to throughput. So it has connected using ADSL2.
This is normal for longer lines.

Re: sync speed went from 6166kbps to 3335kbps WTH

Your line is disconnecting a fair bit, which is going to be causing lower than expected speeds:
Are you plugged in to the master socket, using a single filter without any extension leads in place?
You're definitely provided on the 21CN platform, your upstream speed shows that, however as others have said your router has detected that it's better for your line to work at ADSL2 rather than ADSL2+.

Re: sync speed went from 6166kbps to 3335kbps WTH

Hi, it's likely to be due to line length - from checking your estimate at http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome it looks like around 4Mb is what's expected for ADSL2+ on your line so you're not too far below that at the moment.
Looking at that though it seems Fibre is now available for you and the estimated speed for that is much better - I guess the cab is much closer to you than the exchange is Smiley

Re: sync speed went from 6166kbps to 3335kbps WTH

when i go to upgrade it only shows essentials ????
plus the openreach website shouw that my exchange is coming soon, so were did you look to see that i can get fiber

Fibre optic broadband is estimated to be in your area between October 2013 and March 2014. Please note that these dates have been provided by our supplier and are estimates. Dates may be subject to change due to factors outside our control such as; delays agreeing cabinet locations with your local council or unforeseen issues encountered during the construction of your street cabinet.

the fiber cab is there but there is no sticker on it saying that its live, i live about 10seconds walk away from the cab and should get about 76.8mb down and 20mb up
