speeds wireless around 73mb. wired is around 40 something whats that all about

That is a strange one, was anything else downloading on your computer when you did the wired test?

No but i have just hopped a couple gateways and its fine now i was on pcl-ag02 now on pcl-ag07
If i turned the modem off do you think it would sync higher my profile is 77.4 and my throughput speed is around 73 im just thinking in the future

Still don't make sense why wireless was quicker though and it wasn't a case of doing a speedtest wired then hopping gateways straight away I left it for 20 mins or so and tried different speedtesters

Did you notice this discrepancy on just a single occasion or have you tested this out since (i.e compared wired to wireless speeds).

No. Looks like it's already sync-ed at the maximum rate.
