I was in the
broadband Order Tracker page - checking on progress - and clicked on one of the links ( for upgrade ) and there were listed the many different type of accounts -
There appeared beside the description and before the amount in pounds some spurious characters, the only one I can describe is an inverted question mark.
Something wrong somewhere ?

Is you browser set to use western (ISO-8859-1) charcter encoding or utf8 or something else. This can be seen normally under view -> character encoding in firefox and Page -> encoding under IE7.
Sometimes if you use the wrong encoding the pound sign is replaced with funny characers like you are seeing.

I have not set up FF or IE - or any other browser for that matter to use anything other than defualt code / syle.
But as you suggest FF3 is in Western and IE7 in Unicode
But the PN web page has this meta
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" />
which I thought defined it.
I do quite a bit of web site work - so understand ( I think )
