stability issues fibre connection

Hello everyone
I've had the the Fibre internet from Plusnet for 1.5 months. My connection for the first month was rock solid with 66 mbs download and 13-14 mbs upload speed.
However for the past 15 days I am experiencing two problems.

1- My connection speed dropped significantly as low as 48 mbs. The estimate for my line prior to joining to plusnet was 59Mb. I did the BT Wholesale test and now my IP profile stands at 52.24mb. Interestingly my last test result gave me a 53.8 mb. I don't know how this is possible but the results makes me think there is something wrong with my connection. My Plusnet "current speed" still says my connection speed is 65.6 mb.
2- Secondly, but more importantly I cannot connect to web pages. It follows a pattern each and every time.
Initially I cannot load some pages whilst others load very slow.
Then, I can only connect to Google. I can make searches but cannot connect to the web page I ask for.
Finally, the connection dies and I can do nothing.
Also it is not just my laptop but all other devices(tablet, mobile phones e.g) fail to connect wired or wireless.
The lights on the router are OK. all green. When I connect to the router interface and check the internet connection everything seems normal. The only remedy I can think of is to disconnect and connect again and everything goes back to normal for only 24-48 hours. Then it repeats again and follows the above pattern.
I would be grateful if you can help me with the above issues. Although I am not happy with speed reduction and having speed below estimate, I can live with it as long as it remains stable.

Forgive my English as it is not my native.
  Thanks

  Ahmet

Re: stability issues fibre connection

well, it says "connection failed with error 651". The modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error.

Hi fkap,
Pages should be down now, I believe they were taken down not long after Jaggies posted? I can see you raised a fault last Monday but that was closed, however you're showing as connected - if the issue does return please advise.

Re: stability issues fibre connection

Hello again
Thanks for the above responses. I've been monitoring the situation and this time my connection lasted 76 hours
before I had to force disconnect and connect again from the router interface.
In addition to that, I've experienced another cut off after 5 hours.
I would also like to find out if disruptions to my connection causes DLM to kick in and reduce my speed further.
Matt, do you think I should raise a fault?
Thank you very much.

Re: stability issues fibre connection

Hi there,
Looking at your connection logs it doesn't seem too bad - I don't think 3 drops in a day will cause DLM to lower the profile unless that comes along with a lot of line errors:

That doesn't mean to say it's not worth raising a fault though, especially if things get worse from here.

Re: stability issues fibre connection

It may just be worth a mention that FTTC connections can (& quite often do) resync too quickly for a new PPPoE session to be initiated.
I believe your Radius logs/graphs depict session drops rather than resyncs & therefore you may not be fully aware of exactly how often a connection actually resyncs.
