squeaky wheel time - BT and your profiles do not match

Tried to do it the correct way via a ticket #101762754, yet getting no where.
Current line speed:
4.9 Mb
Download speedachieved during the test was - 4.62 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 2 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 5.31 Mbps
that 0.4mb difference makes a damned big difference watching anything ondemand, so some WD40 please

That's been increased for you now.
Disconnect then reconnect and you'll pick the new profile up.

Looking at process...
1. Why are tickets not being turned around within set expectations?
2. Why are profile updates not being processed automatically?
3. What is PlusNet doing to address these issues, other than hiding the links to the ticket system?
Resolution of these systematic failures would bring about a reduction in the need for users to call upon support escalation channels.

And when the system picks up the change why doesn't it trigger a PPP drop on my line and I assume others

The ticket was replied to, on more than 1 occassion.

They are generally, on the first response to this ticket the sync rate was at 5661 giving a profile of 4900. This is what our system reflected. Since this point the sync rate changed again and it may (I haven't fully checked) have just been that the new profile hadn't yet been received.

Sorry I drew the wrong conclusions - "getting nowhere" is not the same as "not being answered" which is what I wrongly translated Gus' comment to mean.

jist of the two replies, first reply your speed is within the guidelines copy paste, ignoring what I had stated in the ticket about the profiles not matching.  Second was a pointless reply saying they returned the ticket to me after I had I replied to the first reply, hence this thread.

The second reply was horrible! The first one although he didn't work from the info you provided in your ticket, he did do a line test and work out the profile directly from the sync rate.
