Anyone know why on a multi threaded download I always get a low result.

edit: forgot to mention this is a wired connection.

Re: speed test

The only browser that seems to work here (on a mac) is Chrome.

Re: speed test

jim it is not just that speed test site, speedtest@btwholesale is exactly the same but reports 21.09.  I have an issue with multi threaded downloads. My fault has been on going for over a month now ive had 3 engineers all say no problems so there is something plusnets side and im wondering if anyone knows what.

Re: speed test

For clarity
Which router do you have
Which operating system
Which internet security package

If you start Firefox in safe mode and then try a test which isn't flash based is that any difference

Re: speed test

Not sure that ABP is responsible, at least for me...
IE11

FF30 ABP off

FF30 ABP on

This last one was also taken by Firefox, first one when I had the FTTC installed. Things have gone downhill a tad, but the TBB download has generally always been better than HTTPx6 for me.

I need to check a few things locally, but I suspect I may be raising a speed fault next week...  Sad
