speed limited to 2Mbps

for the last week my speed has not gone above 2Mbps
bt speedtester gives me this error
"The Performance Tester is currently unable to run a speed test for your broadband connection. Please try again shortly, however if this problem persists, raise the issue with your service provider."

and bt speedtester is still not working for me

I just used dmt tool as suggested here http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,101910.msg864847.html#msg864847 when I last had this problem ( but not a router compatible with dmt tool) and 10 minutes later it's working properly
more info on dmt tool can be found here http://www.kitz.co.uk/routers/DMTv8.htm if anyone else has a similar problem

I've just been on to our suppliers who've identified a profile mismatch. This should be rectified within 2 hours, so If you can let me know how it is later.

it was back to normal from 11am until now - I'm now limited to 2Mbps again

Hi iambatman,
There's nothing showing on diagnostics now. I'd suggest finishing answering the questions on your fault ticket and see what the faults team can come up with.
