snr stats

Hi, can anybody reassure me that these are ok?
Upstream SNR  26db, downstream SNR  9.0db
I'm getting downloads at dialup speeds when I'm on a ADSL Link Speed of 8128  kbps

On the surface they look OK.
Can you post the results of a BT Speedtest and http://www.mybroadbandspeed.co.uk

Hi Chris,
The SNR stats looks okay.  It's not a profiling issue as we're profiling your line @ 7150Kbps.
Could you let us know where you're downloading from?

Hi again
Still slower than they've been before but not as bad as last night
I was downloading from www.amd.com, tonight I've tried that site again and it was around 125KB/sec, www.filehippo.com at 279 and this one http://www.nvidia.com/page/uli_drivers.html was about the same as amd..

Speedtest.net is not the most reliable of speedtesters.

If you could do that preferably at an off-peak time (early morning) and post the results.

Hi, just go around to performing this today and here are the results
All seems fine at the moment but on that evening it was particualry bad at around 6-8 Kb/Sec I will continue to monitor it, in the meantime thanks for all your help...
