Hi,
Here is a graph showing your connection for the past week:

Re: slower speeds and higher pings "help needed"

Many thanks Chris, this out of hours help has been extremely useful.
To summarise the above, there are only two (possibly 3) unexplained drops, the rest are all user initiated, either re-boots due to what appears to have been issues with the old modem/router or installing new equipment and settings changes.
The disconnect Thursday ~2000 I wonder if it was you rebooting, but there was no post or PM to say, so not sure.
The disconnect showing on Friday ~1700 could have been you changing the modem/router although you did this just after 1500 there was no disconnect showing then and there was no drop at ~1700 that you knew or made me aware of. Later was dealing with wiring after which no loss of sync, just session disconnect/connect.
On Saturday, when you had the extensive interference on the radio, there was no drop (that may in the main be a good sign) but we don't know what happened with the error rate and then there was this unexplained drop at ~1600 when your connection was banded.
The only other unexplained drop was on Tuesday 23rd ~1700. Now I have reviewed the thread & my PMs, I sent Adam a PM at 1637 pointing out that the Current Line Speed hadn't updated in over 40 hours, could he give it a kick. We didn't notice any change, but at ~1800 a BT speedtest had a throughput result of 2.22Mbps and the next day when I posted reply #73, Adam replied Reply #79

It depends what you mean by kicked, as the profile on our systems was in line with the IP profile (which was well below the actual synch speed) I took that as meaning an SNR reset.

So I'm actually wondering if the Line was indeed reset and it is in training. This may explain why Chris couldn't find the bRAS profile Friday night and the drop Saturday was due to DLM messing. Perhaps someone from Plusnet can confirm if the line is in training.
Whatever is actually happening, I need to remind you of my reply #99, this will be far more important if the line is in training.
Also you need to finish sorting out your internal wiring as per PM. (I'll send you a PM later today.).

Re: slower speeds and higher pings "help needed"

Btw 4pm saturday i was out of the house my missus said she didnt touch anything, if anything she was watching tv and using her phone to mess around on facebook but she said she never been near the pc or the router.
Bt speed test site keeps showing as busy for me so this current speedtest will have to do.

See if you can find those error figures BEFORE you power down or you will lose them.

Re: slower speeds and higher pings "help needed"

Well that all looks as to be expected with your connection being banded. It does seem as though this was another example of the PN Current LIne speed dropping promptly when the BT one did, but of course didn't go up when it should have as we know. Still not to worry, as you are finding your connection "manageable" at the moment, nothing needs doing until you've finished all the wiring changes.
One thing I will remind you of is my reply #99 again. As you haven't been following that method that may have contributed to the banding and if you don't follow it DLM may band you at a lower speed which won't be so clever.
I see no-one from Plusnet has picked up on my reply #138 yet, especially

Sorry, meant to post, I believe the line is not in training. So it's mark time until wiring changes complete.
