slow upload- is this normal?

Morning,

I just did a line test this morning.

Can anyone tell me is this normal?, it seems very slow speed.

My PC is always connected by ethernet directly into the router, which is about a foot away from the main box.

Welcome to the forums, @lollipop1 - that upload speed is actually very good for an ADSL connection, you would struggle to get very much more.

Check what you would get on fibre - if you really need a much higher upload speed and stay with Plusnet, you will need the 80/20 package, which is considerably more than you are paying for ADSL.

I'd agree. The upload speed you're getting is looks to be as much as you can get for your connection.

Fibre would be a big step up, as your upstream estimates are 19-20mbps.
